The order of levels repeats after every third stage, however, one stage is added in this repetition. There are four levels in the first stage, five in the second, and six in the third. The arrangement of the levels of Luxor 2 are similar to the arrangement of rounds in Zuma. Multiple difficulty settings are available as well, with play at higher settings yielding higher scores. In "Story mode", the player earns titles/rankings as he or she progresses through the various levels.

There are a total of 88 rounds of increasing difficulty, plus 13 bonus rounds which the player can play through. If the player succeeds in eliminating a certain number of spheres without this occurring, new spheres cease to arrive and the level can be completed by removing those which remain. If any sphere reaches the player's pyramid, he or she loses a life and is forced to restart the stage. When spheres are eliminated, adjacent spheres which now form a segment of three or more or the same color will also explode in a chain reaction.ĭuring gameplay, the on-screen spheres continuously move forward, pushed by additional small scarabs.
Players do this primarily by shooting additional spheres from a winged scarab which they guide back and forth along the bottom of the screen. People watching 3.The game challenges the user to eliminate colored magical spheres by causing three or more spheres of the same color to collide.
Luxor Atmosphere is a step above the Excalibur and a step below the Mandalay Bay ( all three are connected by inside walkways and Trams). If you do stay a Luxor and don't mind the "Dated Rooms " ask for a floor around 18 +/- you get to ride up in the inclinator/elevator. Rooms are newer in the Towers but we don't want to give up the Pyramid View. in the shade ( a number of large structures have been built adjacent to MC in the past few years). When we stayed at Monte Carlo there were parts the pool are in the a.m. It has a large pool area with good sun all day ( not sure if that's a plus in July) whereas a number of the other hotel pools often have good early sun or mid day or late day, depending on the location of the pool and the Hotel Itself. We enjoy the casino and the Pyramid ( for the Egyptian feel and getting the view from the higher Floors of the Pyramid). I've stayed in many Strip hotels and the MC always seems to be the most reasonable choice for those who don't want to spend so much on the room (which I seldom spend time in anyways). You will be able to cover a lot of ground without having to walk or pay for a cab.

For a few more dollars a night, the MC is more centrally located, has a better pool, has elegant/classy rooms, and is connected to the Aria, Vdara, Cosmo, and the Bellagio by a FREE tram. If you are on a tight budget, then the Luxor is fine but I recommend spending just a little more to get a better location. It's more likely because the location is too far south for most travelers who often times want to be centrally located. However, the price for the Luxor is somewhat deceiving. I have stayed in the Luxor and the only really impressive thing about the hotel is the fact that the elevators go up diagonally.lol That's about it! In truth though, it's pretty nice, especially with all the detailed Egyptian artifacts. As most probably already know, I continue to recommend the Monte Carlo.
